July 2019 – Fire at greenhouse de Kemp BV quickly under control

Sunday morning the 30^th of June, around 8:15 AM, we received a shocking message that tray plants behind our new greenhouse location on the Kempweg were on fire. The fire quickly spread to our greenhouse and the greenhouse of nursery Litjens. Because of the resolute interference of the fire department the fire was under control reasonably fast. During extinguishing the damage to both greenhouses appeared fairly big, as you can see on the picture.

Fortunately the fire has no consequences for the delivery of tips for the coming weeks. Only a small part of the plants is as a result of the fire unsalable. At this moment we are busy with repairing the damage as fast as possible.
